Apparently it pretty normal for boxers and fighter type athletes to have that kind of ear. It's due to their sport. I stand to be corrected though.

My boyfriend has that on one side. The ear is simply thicker because of the repeated injuries so it loses its shape a little.

it's called cauliflower ear, it's a deformation that happens to wrestling/ boxing athletes ears from blunt force, I saw that you can treat it by draining the fluid that builds up in early stages but it has pretty high chance to come back, long-term it's permanent
