I am not saying that Dan is in the wrong. Like at all. JK is toxic af and that is a FACT. What bothers me is the level of hate that is given to JK compared to other tops who did way worse and still are adored by the fandom. I think it’s hypocritical. I don’t like JK that much and I don’t forgive nor forget all the bs he made Dan go through. I just think all red flags should be given the same treatment.

Where did I blame Dan ? He is the only reason I still read this story. Like I am praying for his happy ever after. The only point of my comment was to point out how some readers are biased :) no one should be excused for rape or any kind of abuse
me personally i dropped roses and champagne when the top shot the bottom lmao, there was nothing that could have possibly redeemed him for me after that so i have no idea how the story ends but i don't see how it's relevant here because it's a completely different set of circumstances. jk has had more than enough time to figure out his feelings. he's been a cruel bastard through and through from beginning to end, every single thing he did for dan was for his own best interest. even now, the only thing he cares about, the only reason he is hanging around dan is because he wants him to go back to being useful for jk. if he has any redeemable qualities to him... the author is doing a pretty terrible job of showing them.
I don’t think a lot you are being objective here. I mean yes JK is not the nicest BUT Dan is a grown adult stop treating him like a fragile little thing. Yes he is going under a lot of pressure but you can’t expect JK to be coddling him all of a sudden just because he is sick… Dan isn’t a damsel in distress. Plus JK do have a lot of anger issues (not that it excuses his bad behavior) and he needs time to figure out his feelings. If he just woke up one morning suddenly mad in love it wouldn’t be realistic AT ALL. Don’t get me wrong I will mad as hell if he keeps spewing nonsense about how “he doesn’t care about Dan, and this is all because of his jinx”. But some of you still need to stop the hypocrisy of over hating on JK yet idolizing other red flag tops from other bl story’s like Caesar form roses and champagne for example. And don’t give me the “oh but the difference is JK didn’t have his redemption arc”. I personally love Caesar but no amount of redemption arc could even begin to redeem those tops. Like let’s be for real guys
