I understand that they are in the middle of a war and lowk wldnt have the time to argue abt whos a child and whos not but at the very least there should be at least some sense of awkwardness between them when arthur woke up, not just immediate snuggling. Idk im not an expert in romance and situations like that but if i were arthur, id feel a twinge of guilt for scolding tess and wldnt voluntarily snuggle up with her.
The latest scene between tess and arthur, which is arthur lying on the hospital bed after his fight with one of the retainers (i forgot which) and tess leaning on him while sitting on the same bed, is lowk rlly awkward. cuz just before arthur had set off for his trip to fight that retainer, arthur literally had just criticised tess for being immature. so why is tess suddenly acting so close to him?? Even if arthur had almost died, i wouldnt expect tess to be snuggling up to bro when he literally js disparaged her like 15 chapters ago. Its either i missed the part where arthur apologised or they forgot about that part cuz it rlly isnt logical that tess wld be acting like that after a mini fight.
Also, why are the authors just ignoring the fact that tess is now a silver core? It doesnt make sense for her to just be sitting on the sidelines with 3 group members trying to climb up the military ranks. I get that shes now in a higher position after fighting on the battlefield for a bit but isnt a silver core already enough for a higher position in the army? Plus, she has a beast will with her as well so I rlly dont understand why she has to climb from the bottom to rise up in position. Maybe its because her grandfather wants her to prove herself and her will, but i feel that the silver core is rlly wasted. Unless my understanding of what is strong in this world is wrong, tess shouldnt be made to work her way up considering her grandfather is already a general that can easily give her the position.
idk this is js my opinion, dont take it so srsly
