It not shown rn but they will have more cute moments lol. In the novel, Chungrim didn’t really care about the MC losing his mind at least, not until the MC started to forget him. As long as the madness happened in front of him, Chungrim was fine with it.
Even when the MC kept repeating the same question, Chungrim didn’t get annoyed. He just kept answering, calmly. There are more moments like that, but this one’s my favorite bc the ml explains why he love the MC

I read the novel n lemme just tell u it goes downhill ever since the mini mart's father died. MC gets progressively crazier n more paranoid. Still has a "happy" ending though bcos they end up staying together (toxic co-dependency)
