Because bro can just hop onto another body when needed. Plus bro is at the peak stage of cultivation (almost immortal) so I doubt a mere fire can kill him anyway (+ assuming other sect leaders hasnt reach that stage of cultivation or don't have anybody that is above bro's level to kill him)
