Derricks cruelty doesn't hurt as much as Eclis' , because she cared about him and expected him to be good to hear... Where Derrick is already a bastard and she already expected as much of him yk.... It's not the backstabbing that hurts, it's knowing the person who did it

Yeah but she didn't really see Eckles as a person she would just forget about him whenever she felt like it and then she would love bomb him just for that percentage increase.
Tbh I don't think i hate eclis enough for the level of brutality. Like even his choice to bring Yvonne, potential brainwashing aside, seemed kinda immature (like cruel to penny but immature).
Like Eclis is clearly more crazy/immature than he is evil (at least is how I'm reading it) which doesn't absolve him but I wish this level of hate was directed at Derrick and the level of hate she sends to Derrick was to eclis lol
