what’s some of the foreshadowing?
i just read chapter 16 and he says "we're an alpha and omega" is that a mistake or??
play really close attention to the way jiheon acts and what he says, i feel like we know him as this character who sometimes says random shit but i’m noticing that in some cases it isn’t random at all. with the way he acts during certain situations, the whole problem with his relationship with his mother, the reason why he treats wooju a certain way. also taking note of the dependency wooju clearly has which jiheon has been taking advantage of. and also the dependency jiheon has on wooju. these are scattered throughout the story. but a major one for sure is professor cha. he doesn’t have a lot of dialogue but when we first meet him he’s looking at a photo of jiheon and wooju, his focus being on jiheon. who sent him the photo? we later see that jiheon has got some opps in the same work field as him (that sleazy ass lookin mf) and later on when wooju is offered a part time job. professor cha definitely did that on purpose to create a riff between jiheon and wooju, which we see jiheon develops a greater obsession, everything seems calculated in my opinion.
DEFINITELY NOT A MISTAKE. i was reading the raws so i could get a better feel for this (since sometimes translations aren’t exactly the same feeling) and he definitely says alpha and OMEGA. so it’s not a mistranslation.
i just caught up and ur observations are so spot on and really make me think more abt what's Actually going on, i really needed to hear that, this story is getting insane and honestly i hope wooju doesn't end up with either of them he's too good for them
is the professor obsessed with wooju or smth? does he want wooju or the other dude
at this point in the story (this is my personal takeaway) wooju seems like a pawn for professor cha. i don’t think he actually wants him. we know that wooju is known to be “the kid who was kidnapped” that apparently had made headlines years before the story began (evidence with jiheons manager who was a journalist before working for jiheon. he recognized wooju.) i would assume that professor cha probably has some business with wooju and jiheon. utilizing woojus trauma to his own advantage…also remember that professor cha’s father helped out wooju and his family…there’s clearly a connection.
ok look originally when i first read this i was like “what the fuccckkk” but i now that i re read everything like lwk…if the author somehow manages to tie everything up id be incredibly impressed considering how many unsolved/known things we’ve seen so far. and the subtle hinting/foreshadowing in the beginning to now is genius asf because i’m starting to understand the characters more on a deeper level which makes this story a lot more interesting. like yur the say gex is GREAT but im here for the plot.
