I love mythology and knew that Sisyphus was know to be clever and crafty, also the whole cheating death thing... So along with some of the other comments I'd like to believe the throw up was from him being undead, but I think he's still tricking MC and lying to some extent, at least this early on in the story, about his feelings for MC... I just hope they become real soon because this chapter hurt
wasn't sisyphus the dude that was punished to push the boulder up a hill forever? did he cheat cheat? thought he was just punished by Zeus or smthn Genboxxy

He escaped at first and was dragged back, then he also came back briefly to complain to his wife

I'm a bit rusty tho someone can correct me. I do know he came back more than once to the overworld even though he was supposed to be in the underworld, I think it was more in spirit tho, he was still dead. Been a while so my memory is hazy

yeah I think that checks out, I was confusing him a bit with the dude who's punishment was to have his guts eaten everyday by birds, thought that was the one who tried to cheat death, but it was the one who stole fire from the gods apparently (just checked now)
