jay works for the government, likely the cia. he was on a case investigating ross travautin for drugs and tax evasion and the like, and he was also trying to find the congressman that ross was working with/ bribing. the team jay was on is headed by the brown woman from this chapter and the short blonde haired woman from the garage is also on the team. ross got pulled off the team for so called ‘getting exposed’ during the shootout where gren died. from thi’s chapter, we’ve learned that the brown woman actually pulled jay off the team bc he was getting close to finding the congressman that ross is working with, and that the brown woman is also working with the congressman to sell drugs and commit tax evasion, likely for a cut of the money.

Wait, I’m so confused. Who/what is jay and who is he working for??? Did the last panel say he’s ROFLE or whatever, or is he planning on offing him or smth? Like I’m genuinely so confused as to what jay does
