Other readers said that woowon and his dad fought however, woowon didn’t kill his father. His father was about to be hit by a car but didn’t help his father get out of the way, thus woowon’s guilt is making him imagine he was the one who killed his father, when he didn’t actually do that. I think if woowon did do it, the police would’ve interrogated him based on physical evidence or witnesses at the scene.

Dad died because he got hit by a car. When dad was beating the shit out of Woowon and trying to kill him (he was literally yelling “die”), Woowon imagined choking his dad and killing him b/c of all the abuse he suffered from his dad, then passes out. Dad runs away. Woowon wakes, looks for and finds dad in the street almost hit by a car. Dad sees Woowon, freaks out and runs away (guessing he thought Woowon was dead and he was seeing Woowon the ghost??). Woowon chases after dad into yet another street and we see headlights. Woowon grabs his dad’s arm but then remembers wanting his dad dead and lets go of his dad’s arm as the headlights close in. So he probably blames himself and is scared to tell Seoan the “truth”. But as Woowon has head injuries, who knows how much of this is real or not. Maybe Woowon let go, maybe dad shook off his grip, maybe he never even managed to grab his arm. Hopefully we (readers) get to see CCTV or some recording of what really happened (hinted at but not confirmed that video exists).
Low-key forgot what happened. Did Woodson actually choke his dad? But did his dad die from the car accident? Does Woowon think he killed his dad or…?
