Earlier I commented about how I’m having trouble visualizing them moving on to sex and Guwon topping to boot because he’s being written as so child-like, and I think people misunderstood my comment. Like I know Guwon is topping, he looks the part and apparently the author has said so on twitter, but still, can’t wrap my head about how this child-like character that doesn’t know anything about anything is going to get to the point of being some sex god (cus we know in yaoi there is never someone bad at sex. even if they’re virgins, they just know). The story is intriguing enough, but nobody is bothered by Guwon’s inexperience in life?
Hmm, honestly I sometimes wonder if the author thought this story through. So far there was no real built-up and chemistry between the two main characters. We know NOTHING about Guwon and somehow no one in this story ever prods at that fact or even TRIES to get him to talk. How come almost no one is curious about him? Also our two characters are still blank slates to us, we have no clue of who they are and what life they have lead. It does not help that the first chapter immediately started with the MC getting saved. We need to be emotionally invested in them before we are able to root for their romance. And so far - from what we have seen and read - Guwon acts more like a child than anything else … and not in a „well, all men are somewhat childish“ or himbo type of way, or even merely innocent. It‘s just very infantile and it makes my skin crawl. I really wanted to love this story, but after reading the spoilers for chapter 13, I really do have my doubts about continuing … or thinking of at least letting this marinate. Because having your ML retch after getting kissed by the MC, was maybe not the way to go LOL at least not before priming the reader of his background which may or may not could have made this fact a bit more digestible
