You're right! Honestly I'm glad we're at the part of the story where everything was laid out in the open. I couldnt enjoy any of the "fluffier" times (if you could call it that) because I was too busy having anxiety over Yeonjo finally being discovered for his plan to kill Hee ryang. I prefer the open resentment over fake affection, and both of them being confused over the feelings they were starting to develop for each other.
Contrary to popular opinions, I love this part right here. Yeonjo trying to die but cannot help to also silently love him because he cannot let go of his resentment. And the governor trying to hold onto yeonjo's resentment because he loves him too much to let him die. I despise the rape and I'm probably getting desensitized about it, but the rest are *chef's kiss*
