Ok, that makes sense with the buildup. I was having trouble wrapping my head around how the author was going to write this child-like man to be a convincing top. Finding out he might just be one hell of an actor doesn’t make whatever comes next (in terms of their intimate relationship) so off-putting.
I admit I haven’t read chapter 13, but by reading all the comments about Guwon throwing up, I think it makes sense. If he’s as innocent and child-like as we’ve seen, then he might not take too kindly to being kissed. Remember, kids of a certain age think other kids are gross and have cooties. Guwon might have experienced the kiss like how a kid might experience something similar. When I was 7 I had to dance with a classmate for a Christmas special. I did not want to hold hands with this kid, I felt grossed out and hated Jingle Bell Rocks for a long time afterwards. That was my reaction to holding some kid’s hand. If Guwon doesn’t know or really understands adult intimacy, a kiss on the lips might be a bit too real.
