IDC I'm still waiting for them to arrest that criminal. Stockholm syndrome is very real and the ppl calling the MC dumb, 1.don't get how abusive relationships work 2. Dont understand how much gaslighting can affect someone. Just cuz a story has sex don't make it a romance.

Its not recognized as an mental disorder in DSM-5, its
Im unsure whether the term oversimplifies or pathologizes complex emotional responses in extreme scenarios, but its smth very complex.
The best stories usually show the psychological depth and emotional confusion involved, not just “they fell in love because they were trapped together.”

I asked chatgtp and honestly agree. Its complex, emotions born in “healthy or normal situations” can be just as fake. Emotions will always be very complex. Now is this relationship stable? No
    Do they need help? Yes.
The perpetrator is a victim himself, stockholm syndrome too.
He adapted a survival strategy too, connecting with his abuser to understand him and so she would recgonize and love him.
But was his love for him mom fake? No. He loved his mom. She was far gone to see that.

Idgaf too, i wanna see them smile. I believe it has been tough for both, life has been horrible for both.

This is a decent argument but I'm sorry I have extremely little trust in anyone who uses chatgtp or really any AI for information. There also comes a point where a trumatizing past cannot excuse current actions. I'm just saying I'd rather he get justice in this scenario than anything else, personally I really like this as a thriller.

Interesting how you think any other search engine you use daily is different from AI, but you do you. Im not sure how you measure the point beyond which there is no salvation,i guess you have your ways.

The thing is, what about his justice? He was done harm too, who gets blamed for that? We just ignore that now?

Because you might think its just about blaming and excusing, but to me he was also just a child who was failed and made into this “monster” you cant excuse anymore. His whole life reduced to a good thriller you enjoy.

Its just fiction, but its totally normal we all take it and process it differently.
I will assure you that im aware his behaviour is wrong.
The lines blur in fiction. Only for my fictional characters xp

First of all chatgtp is notorious for being extremely harmful to the environment, plagiarizing, and having straight up wrong information because AI does not work the same as normal search engines. Second of all for a work of fiction it seems you sure like to treat them as real. Just cuz he has a tragic past doesn't mean he necessarily needs to have some sort of justice or redemption. We already know the blame for his past fell on his parents and we know instead of getting help (he has money it was accessible to him) he instead became obsessive. He's not just some "child" who doesn't know what he's doing. He knows what he's done is wrong. You seem really adverse to my OPINION he should be brought to justice. All I ever said was I wanted him to pay for his crimes and that I didn't like him.

Biiiiiitch I really love your replies <3 you are so right.
About chatgpt it's clearly you didn't ask for information but for an analysis about feelings.
I think that, in this case, that is fiction, we can be able to be not so logical and realistic, and we can fly through the story.
This manhwa is a masterpiece imo.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS STORY. I already read it so I don't want to spoil you jic but what I love the most is the way I was trapped in a bubble and then the author (the real one) just pop it. And the again I was trapped in the same bubble. I just love this story and I love both characters SO MUCH.

(≧∀≦) i feel the same, its a brilliant story , i love love them tooooooooo. I think emotions are the most complicated thing to explain or make sense of. And to read a story that makes you wonder and wonder its amazing.
You can read the cutest fluffy story and not question feelings cause of course they must be real, but its also thrilling and somehow heartwarming to read a story where two broken people try to see eachother even if its hard, cause they lack the healthy mechanisms.
Cant wait to see where it goes ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
