Well obviously it is psychological (it's in the tags)and I think that this is a great way to show the saying that goes " love is blind ". I know the ml is bad and fucked up but I can't blame him nor the mc because I have been there before, not the situation but the feeling, the feeling of yearning for love, to be noticed, cared for and the part where you want to be not betrayed and lied to about love.
Well good for the mc because he got the love he was yearning for, if I met someone like the male lead I would be acting like how the mc reacted to the situation. Scared, anxious but hearing the words you wanted to hearing makes it all disappear but there's still a bit of doubt because you're still holding onto something that still makes you sane and conscious about the situation
Anyway I'm ending this I might as well write a whole essay atp if I kept going. I just really love how well written it is.
