According to novel, OG Eugene is in Yujin's body and is super happy because he has a loving family now, so Yujin, even though he misses his parents, is kind of relieved they are not left alone (as in, his original body is not dead, so at least they're not grieving).
OG Eugene tell all about what he did when he woke up as Yujin, like how he had to learn to use technology and dropped out of university (obviously couldn't continue in computer engineering major lol), but took up cooking and is not thinking of opening a restaurant.
Yujin decides to stay with Alexis and live on as Eugene, knowing OG Eugene is happy with his family.
Yay! Im so happy they both get a happy ending

Anything and everything can happen when you decide on what you want to even though it was not in your list.
As for Yujin, he has found true love. When your madly inlove with someone, anything is possible.
I get that he left his family but he did that to pursue his happiness because HE is the one living for himself and not for his family.
It's like how when you get married you decide that you want to travel the world around with the person you love.
I bet he will miss his family too but it doesn't mean he doesn't have a family who cares for him in the world he decided to live in.
And as for the real Eugene, I bet Yujin trust him that Eugene will be able to live with HIS family like Eugene 's own family.
(I guess even Yujin's own family doesn't know it's not him but I guess they felt Eugene as their real son so in both cases. They are living very happily)
