So rose heard about how the prince might get assassinate and felt bad. Gold is the goddess of the empire. Gold possessed Rose to actually help save the 2nd prince. The reason she want rose to help the 2nd prince is because if he dies, 1st prince gets her blessing. She doesn't want him to get the blessing bc she believes that he resembles her husband too much (looks/personality/reasoning). She hates her husband (first emperor) because she's forced to fulfill his wishes. One of his wishes was to share her powers with her children (so they can be perfect, cuz he hated his kids before) but to share her powers there need to be sacrifices. (Loved ones;siblings) and the people of the nation will be docile and see the royals as gods. But she has to manually sacrifice these loved ones herself, which is leading her to be miserable. (also gold blessed Arzens to always serve the royal family when a calamity is to occur; she considered 2nd prince dying a calamity; idk if that important tho).

And the prince and rose did a pact, so if rose dies the prince dies (something gold doesn't want) but idk how that gonna work. 2nd season is a lil confused bc what is being done about the curse?? I thought she was looking for something about it?
