Looks like the issue with the money is resolved. Everyone else understood and won't tell the teacher so no one is going to get in trouble. As for Sekyung, he probably won't be pulling that kind of stunt again now that he's come to accept the situation. One issue is resolved yet so many remain. Like Sekyung's father.
Looking at how Sekyung interacts with his own father, you can tell that they aren't very close. The fact that he tried to hide things from his own father shows the amount of trust they have for each other. And Sekyung seems to have a very superficial relationship with the other students as well. To them, he's looks like the perfect honor student who came from a rich family. But truth is, he knows that he's not the person he make himself out to be.
Deep down, Sekyung probably knows that he's not a very good person. That is why he hides that part of himself from everyone around him. The sad part is that he doesn't seem to have anyone he trust enough to show that side of him to. Seriously, I'm starting to think that Deukpal might be the only person he's opened up to like that. Showing his vulnerability and lay clean the ugly side of himself. I know he did it because he knew Deukpal can't tell anyone else. But Deukpal's reaction probably took him by surprise.
Instead of rejecting Sekyung or telling him that he's evil, Deukpal accepts Sekyung for who he is and even tries to comfort him. It make sense though. Deukpal is a ganster after all. He knows there are plenty of people far worse than Sekyung out there. And as an adult, he can't help but comfort Sekyung. Cause to him, Sekyung is just a kid. He should be going to school and enjoying youth. Yet, he's crying in such a vulnerable state. As an adult, when you see a kid fall, you don't kick them while they're down. You comfort them and help them back up on their feet.
This encounter probably made Sekyung realize just how good person Deukpal truly is. If Sekyung fall for Deukpal, I can totally understand why. Just imagine. You are surrounded by people who you don't trust. You smile and act like you're fine even though you're not. Your own family are more like wardens rather than your ally. You feel suffocated and has nowhere to turn to. But then came along this super cool and mature guy who not only comfort you but accept you for who you are. He's so bright and messmerizing that you're not even sure if he's real. All you know is that you want him to be a part of your life for the rest of your life. Of course you'd fall for him.
