Unfortunately Flynn won't think like that...
I'm not sure, I think he was acting out because he's frustrated and not used to waiting for what he wants - but I do think he might change his tune once he actually goes to the festival. His ability to be mad at Flynn is directly related to how far away he is.

i actually don’t think he truly meant the last message. knowing his personality, okay he’s jealous and stupid sometimes but he’s also really sassy and always teasing him sooooo.. or this is me hoping he’s just trying to be funny
