Second, I have little theory on what Silon has planned for Jun. it’s not a full-proof idea nor is it complete but here’s what I got: It wasn’t by chance that he took in Jun and revived him, but rather it was for Silon’s own twisted plan (like maybe reviving his wife? The author did say sci-fi will be highlighted so maybe more on the scientific research projects that will help bring his wife back?). In Ch. 12, Silon talks about believing in chance or fate and he says something like “It was chance./ It was chance that I had been on my way back from Sacramento….and that I decided to make a stop in Auburn./ It was chance that I watched your funeral take place in the public cemetery…./ ….Chance that you died from blood loss…/ …. And chance that your heart began to beat again.” Now, Silon has a tracking record of lying when it comes to his relationship with Jun. Before this, he blatantly lied to Jun when he inquired about whether they knew each other by saying “You don’t know me and I don’t know you” and “No, we’ve never met before”. And his lies are the direct opposite of the truth. So my dark thoughts were like, “what if we take what he said about chances and assume that they are directly opposite to the truth?” Which would mean that if it’s not by chance… then it was planned. The first 2 parts of what he said was easy to envision. Maybe he had planned to stop by Auburn and planned to watch Jun’s funeral. But the third part is a little tricky because it would mean something quite dark. Was Silon somewhat involved in what specifically drove Jun to commit suicide? I mean, in chapter 12 he did say he’s a talented expert torturer who knew “how to push people to the brink of collapse”. But then how did he get him to choose a death by blood loss? And then the line after that where he mentioned his heart beating again. Was that planned too? I was honestly filled with doubt about this, but then I remembered that the scene they showed for this particular line was when Silon saw Jun at the funeral. And we get insights on his thoughts during this moment in Ch. 47. He says things like, “So what? What about him? I would do anything to bring Jin’s body back from wherever it was now. Anything. I could even…. tear this innocent little child apart with my bare hands….” And that made me think, “Hmm, what if this whole idea of reviving Jun for some sort of twisted plan was born in his mind right at the moment?” And maybe he has been concocting his plan ever since then. If he had that much time to think about it, it just makes it a little bit more believable that he was capable of controlling all those things. from Jun’s death to his heart beating again. And the fact that he was treating Jun like a test subject at the beginning of the story makes me think that he had reduced Jun to a tool for reaching his goal. And overall he’s been ultra sus so I honestly wouldn’t put something this dark past him.
I would really love to hear other people’s thoughts and discuss about this. It’s taken up so much of my mind!
I don’t usually share my thoughts but it’s been such a long while since a yaoi manga has made me think so much so I want to share, otherwise my mind will explode from thinking…

What I gather from season 2 so far is that Silon does not care about Jun for who he is and probably has some dark, twisted plans for Jun to satisfy his selfish desires. It’s a story that stings to read, but the author does things so well that it compels me to keep reading!
Firstly, Silon’s sex scene with Enzo doesn’t just feel like he “cheated” on Jun, but also me, the reader. The fact itself that the MC is having sex with another person that’s not the ML already gets under my skin, but if you think about how much Enzo’s story with Silon parallels Jun’s story with Silon, it leaves an even worse taste. For example, the two of them lived together by themselves in an isolated location, they don’t get along at first but they get closer as Silon does things for him and treats him well, Enzo who was younger and the child treatment, younger guy falls in love, then they have sex. Back in S1, when we only had Jun’s pov, I only thought about how “at least Jun and Silon are getting closer and their relationship is building. They’ll fall in love eventually”. But now when this happened in S2, it’s as if the author slapped me in the face with, “Hah! You thought what they had was special? Well, guess what? It isn’t cuz Silon has done this whole shit before”. It felt like throwing away all the relationship development I thought Silon and Jun had in the garbage. It’s not that Silon was just not yet in love with Jun…. he never even thought much about the intimate moments with him. And that to me was a betrayal for the readers that felt as awful as Silon betraying Jun by having sex with Enzo.
AND there’s more to this. In Ch. 36 when Enzo and Silon went on a fishing trip, Silon advices him to go talk to his dad. After hearing everything, Enzo makes this comment: “How does he know all the right things to say?” And I thought, isn’t it because he’s been in a similar situation having a daughter? Part of Silon’s advice makes me think that he was pulling shit from his own life like when he says “…but think about how devastated he must have been to lose his wife and child” and “He loves you because you’re his son. Enzo, he’ll be proud of you no matter what.” And this led me to darker thoughts, like what if Silon felt bad and had sex with Enzo because he and his situation reminded Silon of his daughter? What if the intimacy he has with Enzo was built out of trying to fill the emptiness born out of not being able to love and be a good father to his daughter? Maybe Enzo is like a placeholder for what could have been a relationship between him and Lina….
And ofc, if Enzo is a placeholder for Lina, then Jun is obviously a placeholder for his wife. Apart from their intimate moments not meaning much to Silon, add on the fact that he is having sex with his dead wife’s brother that looks a lot like her…. like think about what that could entail about what was going through Silon’s head as he does it with Jun. I mean those sweet forehead kisses that means so much to Jun to the point he looks forward to it every night, and then finding out at the end of S1 that that’s exactly what Silon had done for his wife to say goodnight… it was enough of a wake up slap. But I just know that in Ch. 18, when he starts mouth fucking Jun after seeing his face…. he wasn’t seeing Jun’s face at all. Looking back at all their intimate scenes will never feel the same way anymore…
This is part 1. Hold my water.
