It’s their kind of twisted love. And if I had to judge it, using our „norms“ of love, I’d even say that they are truly, with their soul and body.

They yearn for each other, not only sexually but emotionally as well. They are able to experience and feel those things even though they both went through hell - a scenario where humans should have felt nothing but pure survival of their own.

If anyone says this is fuxked, yes, but projecting our expectations of a healthy love onto them is just naive …

    It is a sad twisted love, but in the context of the story, I can understand and accept it.

    Only they can fully understand and empathise with the other's trauma
