Ofc it would be a different story if Jaeshin had told him long time ago. Nok might not even be that hurt bc he believed Jaeshin cares about him. Now he surely doesn't, and shouldn't. Thus I don't think it will be resolved in the next episode.
Another thing: does Nok still see ghosts? Are they attracted to his yin energy? Nok should distance himself from Jaeshin for a while now, so he might start to see them again. However I deem Jaeshin will linger in the vicinity (as he said) and drive them awayXD
Hmm that old guy could team up with the queen but: she's imprisoned, has no power, can't control ghost's anymore, could even lost her ability to see them. Ergo worthless. I'll bet that guy will take the position of the villain now(▰˘◡˘▰)
I think he does??? cause plotwise it hasn't been that long since the paint brush ghost if i remember correctly? and it also did not have anything to do with the evil queen so he'd probably still be able to see them.

BUT TF why did it have to be the fking bitch to tell nok that and why's she still breathing fml. poor nok really looks hurt after finding out and rightfully so.
would we have avoided this situation had jaeshin be honest? most probably but i still don't see a way where nok wouldn't have been hurt so oh well. I hope they talk things out by the next episode like we can go with having a huge misunderstanding arc. however since nok is already under pressure with the king wanting to abdicate, he'd already have too much on his mind to actually process and figure things out about jae's feelings on his own and soon at that. but I've a feeling that the old man would butt in at the same time again.
and since the queen is still not extinct atp i can just pray that the two of them don't team up
