There were so many times in this where it was SOOO close to it being a really cute but sad story abt a really damaged guy who needed someone in his corner to support him and take him out of his comfort zone so that he could actually feel comfort (sex is something he can fall back on when he doesn't want to feel other things, is tied to his self worth, etc), and then that someone showing up and defending him and being his guard dog! and I kept thinking it'd happen because it's a pretty decent portrayal of corruption in the workplace, ESPECIALLY for sex work, but then they dropped the ball each time ╥﹏╥
I don't think it's bad because it doesn't follow the storyline above but it was SOOO close to taking itself this serious that I ended up disappointed that the main love interests never had a chat like it lol... good foundation and execution but they just didn't do the things or go as far with things that I think could've made it SUPER super good lol
