From watching a bunch of korean shows, isnt last year of high school in korea more focused on preparing for exams? Kids who are like into sports and planning to pursue sports also mostly just do training rather than attending class. They also dont really have end of the years projects that they need to complete or else they wont graduate, they just need to pass mock exams and stuffs. They always make it seems like they dont do anything besides mock exams.
