personally i think there’s really no solid connection between them (based on what i saw and feel from vikir and he actually have more connection and show more feelings and personality with the tribe girlie) but now suddenly he’s getting beat up just bc he feels like it’s his fault she contracted a demon? yeah they met several times during childhood and maybe it’s camaraderie between a fellow genius or he just feels bad bc she’s supposed to be a hero that has fallen from grace but c’mon bro it’s everyone vs. her and if killing her means killing the demon then so be it. i don’t hate her bc she’s a girl in love, it’s her irrationality that i hate and the fact that she’s selfish enough to endanger her family and those who actually care for her for someone who barely do and might or might not be dead (coping mechanisms depends on people and i hate hers so it might just be me but anyways—)
