Isn't Minami a boy? why is the text calling him a she.

I was just about to say that it's confusing

Minami it's a GIRL!!! Someone It's not automatically a boy just because have short hair. In Japan it's very habitual for girls in all ages have short hair too. Also, in the chapter 2 (page 18) when Koutarou's mother asks her name, Hinako answer that Minami it's a girl, not a boy. And after that Minami it's always called like a girl. Even because in the last chapter Minami wears a skirt and have long hair in twintails. Probably her be called using he/him in the first chapter was just a mistake.
