okay so this is like my all time favorite hehe I've read this so many times but. to answer ur question I think its because of the reason behind the breakup. ito was dealing with a lot of internalised homophobia, and he succumbed to the pressure. nishi is shown to have his own struggles, but he doesn't struggle with his sexuality, (at least from what we see) so it makes it easier for him to accept everything. obviously that doesn't make it okay, but that does it make it easier for me to understand. as a straight person, I could never imagine dealing with any of that, but I could empathize w him. and its not like he was happy either. he suffered all those years too. and then in the end, it was nishi's decision to forgive him. ito was literally the only person to make nishi happy. ALSO, he did end up staying with him for the rest of their lives together. i think it took him a LOT of courage to make that decision, so I could forgive him after!! but yeah I get some people arent satisfied with it yeah.
I'm sour and bitter too. So angry and annoyed. But it was the UK's decision I guess.
I guess im still not matured enough, everyone here saying its beautiful and i guess it is, is this how is it? Im sorry i just lost interest when he broke up with him, he approached him first and he left and he comes back? I don’t think i can still love and trust a person who can leave me once, whats worse he married another and they can stomach doing it with another. I can imagine myself doing it cause i dont love the other person but if i do love someone i dont think i can have sex with anyone except that person huhu
