Not a love triangle because it doesn't go that far cause the esper savior was too slow to realize and MC and ML got together before he understood anything.

The esper confessed to MC but it's too late cuz the MC and guide already have mutual feelings, there's no some sort of confusion/betrayal either so it didn't come off as the usual love triangle trope.
