Looks like politics are not her forte. However, I think that even if she had noticed, she would still have ended in a similar situation because there's no one she could've relied on. If she was not useful they could just have her killed like the other Arkanas :/

They just used her for their benefit... Purifying the land so they could have it for themselves and make profit.. Sickly people seeking her for treatment when ordinary medicine can just heal them so their influence will spread empowering the temple... Announcing that she's favored by the prince so they can have the people would worship the royalty.... And she can't even see that?
She's comparing that to their Elandos? Whom it's like asking her to heal their loved one??
She should use her brains somehow...
