What???? No he didn't? He saw Jenni, thought she was cute and wanted to impress her, like helping her with math or being better in sports, but failed at every attempt because Jenni was better, then he went over and flexed his "wealth", but that too failed. In that moment when Jenni laughed at him he truly fell for her, acknowledging that his approach was wrong.
In all that there was no bullying, he didn't act like trash at all, and he didn't fall for Jenni because she was pretty, but because she was better than him. Furthermore, he hasn't bullied anyone in the series, if you don't count the recent "betrayal", and he's not a "simp", he's respectful to a girl he likes.
Then theres Junhui. Literally the only reason Jenni fell for him was because he was the first man who didn't run off screaming. And why did Junhui fall for Jenni? Because they both had lond eyelashes and fierce eyes. Such stupid, shallow reasonings.
Jeho falling for Jenni follows a more thought out love progression that exceed the cliché trope of "love at first sight". Meanwhile Junhui is nothing more than a wimp who has everything handed to him on a silver platter. He can't even defend his oh-so precious love from Lola. And so what that it was Jeho who informed Lola of Junhui, he didn't know that Lola would be so lively, and target Jenni instead of Junhui.
Jeho may have his faults, but nobody's perfect. He does something stupid and it fails, you can't tell me that you've never experienced something like that. It's still leagues better than a Gary-Stu like Jinhui, because Jeho's actually fighting for his love, even if he fucked up a little.
It can't really be counted as a betrayal. He wanted to be with his crush, but his crush and his best friend were smitten with eachother. He tried in every way to impress Jenni, only to be totally dismissed by her. Then comes his best friend and starts bragging about his crush right in front of him. Everyone has their tipping point, you can't blame him.
Every time Jeho did something to separate Jenni and Junhui he felt conflicted and bad, most of the time opting to right his wrongs, or not seperate them at all. And yes, I do admit that his recent escapade may have been a stupid action, but he didn't know that Lola would low-key bully Jenni. He thought that Lola would get together with Junhui, and Jenni'd finally look his way.
Strictly speaking, Jeho didn't betray Jenni, but Junhui, but yet again I wouldn't call that much of a betrayal myself, more like a failed matchmaking attempt.
In terms of personality, I'd rather root for someone who seems like an actual human being, who has faults and actual thought processes, than somebody who's personality resembles a soggy piece of bread on a gold platter.
No matter how much you try to put sprinkles on shit to make it look like a cupcake it’s still shit. Jeho was told by Junhui how much Lola tormented him and Jeho still went ahead with contacting her just cuz his crush didn’t like him back. It is a betrayal cuz 1. For Junhui already told Jeho about her and how much she terrified him and 2. For Jenny because he’s trampling on her feelings for someone else and actively tried to “break them up” instead of letting them fall out of love organically. This is not something you do if you love someone. Even if he felt bad for his actions he still did them and hasn’t apologized at all yet for anything that he’s done.
To make it short: He fucked over two people that thought of him as a friend just cuz his feelings weren’t being reciprocated
I guess you're right, but I don't like Junhui so I don't really care if he's betrayed, thanks to Jeho we get Lola, a queen in the true sense. Furthermore, I don't think Juhnui and Jenni will ever fall out of love organically, so that's my last defence for Jeho, It's either betrayal or being cucked by his best friend. Nevertheless Jeho on top rahh!!
