What I felt at that time:

I think it’s too much… I don’t think he had done anything to warrant that kind of punishment. If he had done something detestable, I might have cheered, however, MC’s reasoning as revenge for Soso, the plum blossom guy might have pulled his punches (basically for all his opponents at that point I think) but he did treat Soso as a fighter.

In my head, I thought MC aimed down there because it’s the most likely to cause damage despite their huge power gap. I didn’t think it would cause one of them to be maimed. Idk that part didn’t warrant any joy from me; I was actually hoping he’d still get to heal. But who knows, it may or may not be deserved when we know about future events.
