Legally, the police can't do shit if the younger party is over 18 in most places. Morally? Everyone has their own boundaries and personally, I think 24 is mature enough to make his own decisions on if he wants to date older guys ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It’s 100% legal and I’m not hating on the story whatsoever but in real life it’s definitely not something people usually write off as completely normal and would come to the conclusion that it’s a mutual agreement. Especially since the ml gives off rebellious vibes on top of the fact he still needs support from his aunt and hasn’t finished post secondary yet while the mc is divorced, has a stable job and is significantly older. I also think 24 is a mature enough age to make reasonable decisions it’s just that with all the circumstances against them I think a red siren would naturally go off in my head in the perspective of a coworker/outsider looking into the situation.
