I posted a question about this and I’m still confused. I haven’t read the story yet and honestly don’t want to depending on what’s happening. What exactly is going on with the twins and mc, and grooming thing?? Like, was the dude interested in him as a minor and grooming him for when he became an adult?? Or something else?
I’ll explain the best I can. The younger twin is an s-class esper who needs a guide that suits him. Unfortunately, he is unable to find one. So that’s where the mc comes into place. He finds the mc as a kid, so he uses the opportunity to train/raise/mold him to his version of the perfect guide.
By definition, grooming is a term used to describe when a person builds a relationship with a child, young person or an adult who’s at risk so they can abuse them and manipulate them into doing things.
Ch 3 is the perfect example to all this. The younger twin is literally stating in this chapter that he perfectly trained/raised/molded mc to be his perfect guide. He purposely raised the mc to make him think the twin is his entire world and that everything the twin says/does is absolute. Which is a very sick thing to do.
