Tf? It's not a trigger, triggers cause an increase in symptoms, yet another term you're misusing. It has nothing to do with my own personal experience of triggers or PTSD, it has to do with the fact that you actively make disabled peoples lives worse when you can easily choose to use a different word.

Hey hon, we ALL have trauma. Myself included extremely. So I'm going to use the word whenever I feel like it because it's just a word that doesn't have any genuine harm behind it. And stop acting like yours is worse than someone elses who you don't even know and throw it in their faces. You just sound like someone whose whole personality is built on whatever you went through.

When did I ever make it about my own trauma? I never spoke at all about my own trauma and I never said I had worse trauma than others, all I said is that I have PTSD which is why I know that the hyperbolisation of words like trauma and trigger are harmful, because I've experienced it myself and I know other people with similar conditions who have experienced the harm it's caused. Also, we don't all have trauma, trauma is response to a severely distressing event, not everyone ends up developing that response, it's a clinical term that has been over used so much that it's become meaningless and generalised. You can have trauma, I don't give a shit if you have trauma or not, I give a shit if you use the word as hyperbole like you did, just because you have trauma doesn't give you the right to misuse clinical terms that affect people negatively when they are hyperbolised.
You're so self centred that you get mad when told to change a couple words in your vocabulary to benefit others and immediately jump to justify yourself and try to make others feel small by lying about what they said. You aren't the center of the world.

Trauma is a response to a severely distressing event. It's not from reading something that makes you uncomfortable. It doesn't matter if you're someone who has issues, that doesn't negate the fact that the use of the word trauma in such a way hyperbolises it and generalises it to the point where trauma survivors struggle to be taken seriously because it's assumed that they are also using the word as hyperbole.

Reading porn actually isn't completely normal uk ? AS A PERSON WHO READS SMUT AND +18 MANHWAS i confirm that isn't a normal behaviour and has many backgrounds ext i don't wanna do details I'm lazy asf , but READING HARD SHIT LIKE THIS is another level, and some people are sensitive and DIFFERENT if you.. uh glorified victim and world's most traumatised and affected person think that reading this and getting affected by it doesn't cause trauma, otherd actually might have traumas do you even know what trauma is? It isn't just YOU being hurt and going thru shi, EVERYONE has traumas, wven the smallest shi could cause trauma bx human unconscious is much sensitive than what u think .. you ain't the center of the world and 0.25 knowledge doesn't make u a genius that could label all psychological shock. And as i said, you're too triggered for ur own good get therapy and education

Like I said before, I'm not a girl and I don't know why you're making this about my trauma or theraputic needs, this is drawing away from the original conversation that I was discussing which is the fact that using clinical terms as hyperbole negatively impacts disabled people who use these words to communicate their needs.

I never stated I was the world most traumatised person, I have no idea why you're centering my trauma in this conversation. I do know what trauma is, I've already defined it in this thread, it's a response to a highly distressing events, someone who already has trauma with triggers surrounding themes covered in the story may find it triggering but one will not gain a trauma response purely from this story and this alone unless there are other outside factors. Not everybody has trauma, that's one of the points I'm making, the generalisation and hyperbolic us of the word trauma has resulted in the dilution of the word meaning those who do suffer from trauma, which is a response to a highly distressing situation, aren't taken as seriously because "everybody has trauma". Discomfort or negative feelings/experiences don't equal trauma. Like I said before, I am not triggered, triggered is another clinical term and is a reminder of a traumatic event.
I really hope that one day you can understand the harm you cause disabled people by refusing to listen to them and change simple language that severely impacts them when misused. I hope that you are one day educated about psychological conditions and clinical terms and choose to listen.
Why did I just read all of this.. my brain is all fucked up I needa start reading tags I'm traumatized
