There's a safe word, yes, but Lyle might be hesitant to use it cause he's afraid of what Ash might think of him. He was already against the idea when Ash brought it up, but he went through it even though he looked reluctant. I too am insecure, I did some things I wasn't uncomfortable with just to please the one I'm with. I didn't want to disappoint the other person, so i felt like i had to do it even though I didn't want to. Maybe that's the case for Karlyle too... ┐(´ー｀)┌
