I think the main thing is you can't measure him with the same scale for the rapport as you would with humans. If I'm not mistaken at that point of the story their relationship is still fairly physical and lacks on the emotional aspect. It does get better and the ratings are definitely worth it. I don't think it's really a major plot twist but a relationship developing based on their actions.
Significantly so. He didn't really care about the MC in the beginning, that much is true, but later in the story he would both kill and die for the MC. The MC is genuinely the only person he can emotionally connect to.

So I'm at chapter 39 and up until now, I don't see the sincerity in the ML. It feels as though he only wanted to f*ck the MC in the beginning. There was no chemistry at all. I waited and waited, but up until now, only the MC falls for him and the ML's rapport points are sh*t. His actions are lukewarm too. The fact that he called the MC "lover" early on makes me suspect him even more.
I see no chemistry at all, even the knight with blonde hair is a better match.
So tell me, does this get better? Is there a major plot twist that the rapports aren't accurate or are just fake, or that the ML has a reason why he's being like this?
If not I'm gonna drop it.
Honestly, if there's no major twist, I'm gonna be so disappointed because the ratings aren't worth it.
