I don't get how y'all hate Ash yet he's done nothing really wrong even the issues that he's caused he tried his best to fix them and apologized to Lyle for them all. And if you want to bring up the miscommunication with the ex that was all on Lyle and he even apologized for that. Hell, half of the communication issues in this story are cuz of Lyle yet y'all baby him and damn near villainize Ash. I love them both cuz they've both made the same mistakes yet you guys constantly act like Ash is toxic and lyle is completely innocent.
Throughout the story, Lyle doesn't communicate properly to his partner and keeps bottling things inside, Ash's literally begging him to talk to him at this point yet Lyle doesn't so ofc he's gonna feel like he needs to "force" him to talk.
Can y'all please try to understand the perspective of other characters besides the mc?? but atp I'm pretty sure u guys are just not bothering to understand what's going on and you're just looking for an excuse to hate cuz using the word "force" and making it seem like this isn't completely consensual is crazy. Lyle agreed to the bdsm play and admitted to enjoying it. I didn't know why you're trying to turn this into something it's not.
