The story was alright until chapter 7. Then it went entirely to shit tbh. To make it short: Self-insert fap material, but shitty as a romance story.

The seme is INCREDIBLY dislikable and what little bit of a supposed redemption arc he had was just the usualy quick 'boohoo, me so sorry, me feel unwell!' and then the author makes the MC forgive him within basically moments of reading the story. MC not even being a tiny bit worried, having been damaged and changing his behavior or whatever else realistic behavior one would show after all of that happened to you. It's typical writing of shoehorning the romance instead of working things out that you created as the author. Which works well for less experienced readers, people who like self-inserting in these stories or such, but as soon as you grow out of the nonsensical shoujo-type BLs this stuff is just unpleasant, annoying and disappointing. Unless you have a thing for complete doormat MCs and jackasses being forgiven for whatever after saying sorry and sobbing a bit. I suppose those people exist. XD
For me tho, for the seme to be in any way likable, he should have had to sit on his emotions and have more of an actual awakening to his shitty behavior being what he now feels. But that didn't happen. It was glossed over and that kinda ruined it for me. It's just not a redemption to get over THAT important aspect of these sorta relationships within such a short, rushed time and act like it doesn't matter just because the MC is naive and easily manipulated. For him to be actually likable, it would have taken much more dwelling on what he did. OR have them actually seperate for a long time, meet again and start anew, with mutual respect after showing personal developement.
It's not great writing in terms of romance, but I suppose it works for people as a self-insert if this is precisely what they like and wanna jack off to. Anyone who doesn't like doormat MCs, lack of character developement or shoujo-like dimwittery will probably not like this.
