I feel like during the old times (in manhwa tho)
They preferred shaving to make themselves look cleaner and presentable.
I mean....ya know~ Nobles mindset.... A beard at such a young age might make them feel like an old men (lol?) or maybe uncleaned and messy.
(Just my opinion tho...im not sure)
