This comment is so on point. People seem to have blinders on when it comes to mc bottoms. Even when they are wrong they will only blame the top. Its odd and a weird double standard. Gunjoon got secondhand information from some random guy who kept approaching him, but by not even mentioning the guy to Jungseok was such a bad judgement call and frankly a bit dishonest. He wasnt even suspicious that the guy always approached him and just took what he said like it was factual and acted like it applied to his relationship with Jungseok. Gunjoon is getting all hurt when he came into the relationship for shallow reasons AND its new, barely any meaningful time under their belt yet. They didnt even start on mutual like and interest or real feelings. So he just got hurt all by himself while not communicating. Its hypocritical.

Yeah is clear that’s the goal of the author. For MC to stop his projections and properly communicate to ML, while ML learns to open himself more and let his partner in.
MC is needy and ML detached, so if they want to make it work they need to find a mutual compromise. But what is clear is that ML feeling are sincere, even more than MCs right now and going by the raws we will find out why soon
Am I missing something but like is clear that Gunjoon managed the entire situation wrong?? Everyone mentions the ML lack of communication and making MC feel insecure but I went to reread the entire thing and is clear the later didn’t actually try to communicate his insecurity until the last moment while breaking up. Not once did he upfront said to ML “Hey I need you to discuss your past relationships because I feel insecure”. Or even discuss with him the rumors or the fact that one of his “ex”approached him, in fact he decided to just believe that random ex.
Also he didn’t say he “only” dated him for fun he said dating him was fun and enjoyed their time together.
Overall is clear MC is an overthinking with an huge insecurity problem that didn’t believe in the relationship to begin with. ML isn’t perfect but his past as a fuckboy shouldn’t be defining his current relationship.
I’m telling you if you haven’t go reread the entire thing and you would realize why the purpose of this chapter.
