I think what a lot of us are uncomfortable with is that Lyle would do ANYTHING for Ash, even if it makes him so uncomfortable. For me, both are in fault of this, Lyle for not explicitly stating his limits/discomfort and Ash for not really checking in with Lyle to make sure this was ok. He did that during the main story, which is a HUGE reason why we all loved him so much. Ash knows that Lyle has a difficult time expressing his genuine thoughts, and Lyle has a history of bending over backwards for the people he loves, no matter the personal cost.
I get that they are both at fault and I agree with u completely!!!! I just feel like after all this time of not stating his limits and his discomfort, Lyle has to have learned that ash doesn’t want him to do that and that he wants the truth. in this chap Lyle doesn’t have to lie abt wanting to get married to him and get him a ring, he can just say “I’ll tell u tmrw” or “during sex isn’t a god time to tell u” so he doesn’t HAVE to keep it to himself and can tell him SOMETHING. ngl im just mad bc it could be easily resolved ╥﹏╥
