Yes they do parallel that pairing but kaneki always find away to get out of things he's parallel to so no touken relationship won't come out like that

I have a bad feeling that Kaneki & Touka's lovestory might play out like Arata & Hikari's...The mirroring is there. Touka dies and Kaneki goes berserk with Ayato being the one to watch over their child. Hope it doesn't go down that route... ╥﹏╥
