That reminds me of BC Sherlock Holmes.
In the series, Watson was asked to spy on Sherlock.
Watson admits on being offered the money and he said to Sherlock he didn't take it;
He (Sherlock) said;
"Pity, we could have split the fee"
My point is...... i support his scamming the brother!
