It feels weird to see an affair couple getting “praised?” By the mc… idk what the author is trying to do it just feels weird and leaves a bad after taste/feelinf

The wife is still there... but I think this is more of a case where the marriage was political and both carried on with their own love lives on the side? Maybe it's because the wife wasn't mentioned much too... but I didn't get that feeling of the woman being a good wife and mother that stays loyal while the husband is a bad husband and father that keeps trampling on her feelings and cheating. At least for now. Maybe I'll change my mind if she appears more in the future... It's weird cuz I'm usually very against cheating scum... but I don't get much of that feeling against him?
I read too many similar plotline so I get it all mixed up, I thought they're(mc OG dad n mom) divorced or the mc mom was dead or something... I don't like the cheating thing either like please go off and be a mass murderer, be a homicidal maniac but please don't cheat
Yes... me too! I hate it... both cheaters and those "nobles" with multiple wives... even more so in western fantasy settings... like... that... is not normal in western culture right? Same with cheating... it's not uncommon... but it's also viewed as acceptable either... on the contrary, public figures get a lot of hate when it's found out... like with the english royal family...
But in the comics... most of powerful men are associated with cheating... they have this weird notion that the more powerful the more women a guy have... it's weird af tbh... I get the feeling they use marriage as a political thing way more... like... marry the person who's useful and keep the one you love as a lover on the side... those things make me thankful I'm not born there... not to mention how they normalize slapping wives and daughters to "teach them to behave" its disgusting...
I think they are still married "for appearances" but live like they are divorced... at least thats the vibe I got. I don't like them.. but as long as they don't do bad things to mc and his family I won't hate them either...
They did show snippets of the wife and she didn’t look so please with the affair lol. Then, there’s also the fact that regardless of the type of marriage (in my culture there are many arrange and political marriages) it still doesn’t set well either the wife when the husband is clearly having an affair in public and in front of the kids too like omg. These are one of the stories where if its told from another prospective the father and actress would have been sworn at to death hahaha anyway, it’s weird I’m not sure if I’ll continue reading this unless I’m bored and it pops out so I check it. Also… someone mentioned it but that baby don’t look like a baby make him look cuter not adult like
I actually don't like the mistress woman like at all but it's good plot and it's adds nice content to the story ngl, I mean even I would go for that CEO, he's actually kinda...(>_<)
