I know what you're trying to say but I can't ignore the fact that when the fl wanted to talk or demanded something from him or even asked him to explain (meaning that she ready did put some effort at first), all he did was "ignore", "dismiss", "gaslight" and the best he ever did so far towards her, was saying:" I'll tell you later."

right? Erna always tried to talk and understand Bjorn reasoning that's why until now she's staying. She was so open to talk in the first place, it was Bjorn who just refuse to communicate because "his ways are more rational"
I dislike putting all the blame on the ml, we see things from both their povs neither one of them is making the effort to say what they are thinking. I don’t blame either of them, fl needs to speak up instead of just thinking about what she wants and keeping it inside and nodding along. Ml imo is just awkwardly trying to make things peaceful for her and not doing a very good job at it. He wants to make her happy but doesn’t know how. They are both the problem
