aaaaahh i totally agree with you, it just might come off that way because a lot of people think (and are probably right) that lyle would never dare to use the safe word in fear of disappointing ash

Lyle in the readers' minds: wittle innocent baby getting gaslit and manipulated by psychopath Ash into having abusive bdsm sex
THANK GOD I'm not the only one that noticed this. please say it louder for the people in the back cuz it's like the the people in the comments have a severe lack of reading comprehensive skills. they keep acting like Lyle is some lil baby and Ash is an abuser it's literally aggravating atp.
EVERYTIME they have intimate moments like this there will be someone in the comment section yapping about how ash is taking advantage or Lyle being way too innocent for this.Its so annoying seeing the same topic discussed every five chapters over and over again after this it’ll go back to discussing how ash is such a green flag and then one week later it’ll be how he is manipulative and selfish pick a side.He literally gave him a safe word you guys are acting his mouth has been sealed shut.
