So ml thought he was the one who created the virus bcs ig he was passing by the lab and touched smth? But instead it was because the lab already had the virus and didn't want to spread it so they immediately threw it away. However, it was not disposed of properly and mutated at the disposal area and leaked, causing the virus to spread.
ML is in the loop probably is because mc is immune to the virus which means he's the key to stop the virus and ml was the first and only one who saved mc so ig he's stuck in the loop bcs he's the only one who can protect and save mc.
Also idk was I hallucinating or what but isn't there a chapter abt this "switch" a professor was talking abt and saying how this "switch" is extremely important as it basically determines the function of smth?? Cause that's exactly the way to describe mc.

yes in the beginning the professor explained the concept of this switch things but I don't think it's correlated with the virus stuffs at all.
