You'd be surprised with the greed within humans. Especially towards someone they consider an outsider ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I mean yeah it's not surprising they're selfish but the main crew are the ones with all the resources. This plan of theirs makes no sense on every metric, especially since they seem to be average villagers and not bandits. The most obvious plan would be to act as pitiful as possible and then switch up if it doesn't work lol.
Right maybe they could ask to seek refuge in their and betray them when something goes against their wishes. But I genuinely agree with the fl not letting in refugees .if their was another fortress connect to it then that was another thing but taking in people when u already lack resources is like calling hunger games
No offense, but that's the most npc plan ever and its kind of forced. If they're already struggling to survive, there's no way their first thought would be to expend more energy like what
