Idk if its just the bad translation or the actual story, but the characters and story seem so shallow even with literally every single character having trauma. The story lacks depth for me personally and the MC's very, very soft personality is grating; she trusts way too easily and will waiver on her convictions with the slightest breeze. Don't even get me started on the weird pairing they have between her and Hardwin, while he's definitely the best option personality wise, him developing feelings for someone who looks identical to his sister is gross, especially since she's literally acting as his sister. Also makes no sense that the MC has had zero training in etiquette and every other subject a nobel would have been taught, especially since she's supposed to be taking the place of someone who was the heir and Hardwin is like yeah, you need to go to this ball and neither of them at being careful at all about her meeting with Lenon (who suspects her)
