Not the webtoons(site) slander
This isn’t all that hateful I getchu cause sometimes I get tired of the same plot line being over used especially when it’s exaggerated and I have to take a break from the story cause of it. This is usually when I try to read ones like this tho for a difference I gotta put in the hated red flag stories, reincarnation ones, child growing up ones, etc so that I don’t remember the way these plots go so much
Ohhh my goshh I swear my comment was longer and I was agreeing with your sentiments, I just started my comment with that joke because its a known on the webtoons community that the webtoons (the site) was becoming a joke because the works they published are just copy paste of one another I had lots more I typed but I don't know why mangago cut it off at an akward part. Oops my reply is meant for OP but I agree with you two. As much as I love BL doesn't mean I read all of them if the story and the characters are not fresh or engaging~
nah friend im with you! there's one story on here that has like... 9.3 rating, yet the whole time i was reading it, i would guess the next line of dialogue out loud, scroll down, and.... be exactly correct. i got no joy from being so correct all the time T_T

yesss. exactly idk though I try to read from different genres but maybe I'm kidding myself... if I scroll through my read list it's practically just this... maybe I'm the problem... yikes.
ahhh you're so right and idk y but this time it low-key pissed me off when I guessed exactly what he was he gonna say... maybe cause I don't like the trope in general...? it oversimplifies insecurity to three lines of dialogue for the audience which I find so ridiculous, I don't think readers are so simple mided or against character complexity.
it really gets boring when so much of the dialogue is the same across hundreds of works.
Hiiii I really wasn't offended and fully expected atleast one person to comment that I should stfu anyways so you're kewl. I didn't really know about the site stuff though I don't follow much about webtoons on social media... or anywhere else honestly.
I guess its really becoming a joke though because I've found myself having nostalgia for older works/works which started years ago... idk maybe Im insane but they are actually different... maybe that's just the way it is, alot' of them have ended up as a blueprints and it's just like movies nowadays where they remake/live action everything, and nobody is making something from scratch anymore... dialogue wise.
aren't authors tired of the same 4 tropes in every story.. what ever happened to making something original... actually not even original just change the damn wording or something... how is it that almost every slice of life has that exact scene, dialogue verbatim (insecurity after some random spouts bs) with one side of the couple. I'm actually so freaking bored.
that's low-key so hateful of me but I just wanna read/enjoy something a bit different its been so long. maybe I just need to stop reading webtoons & manga in general .
